Mike Pennington, an item expert for Meguiar's Car Care Products, gave Bankrate a step-by-step way of cleaning a car's surface without water and without scratching it.
Tips #1. For the average-size car, you will require three to five high-quality, microfiber towels, along with a bottle of waterless car-wash cleaner at a maker which you decide on. One bottle lasts for three or four cleanings.
Tips #2. Liberally mist the waterless cleaner onto one section from the car each time. Since most grime is for the lower part on the car, start in the roof along with other high sections in the car and work downward.
Tips #3. Using a clean microfiber towel, wipe your vehicle where you just sprayed. The solution will lift the dirt and grime, transferring it to your towel.
Tips #4. Continue spraying the waterless cleaner onto the auto, working toward the minimum sections in the vehicle. When a section on the towel gets dirty, fold it with a clean portion to stop scratches. Use a new towel if it's completely dirty.
Tips #5. Wipe your vehicle with a clean rag to lift any remaining moisture on the solution minimizing haze. There should be only minimal dirt visible around the towel. If the towel gets dirty, fold it to some clean section and continue working.
